They've been running promos for it during Alphas, saying that the show will be coming out in April, I think.

Ah...Well then, I guess we write that off to me not watching Live TV (Or SyFy shows). This'll be cool if it lasts, I wanted something (Especially Space Opera) to bring me back to watching SyFy Channel

The gist:

Here’s the raw essentials: BSG: B&C is a prequel movie being presented as ten, 7-12-minute episodes on young-male-targeted entertainment company Machinima’s YouTube channel, called Machinima Prime. The first episode will be released on Friday, Nov. 9, with the remaining episodes rolled out over the next four weeks. In early 2013, the two-hour version of B&C will air on Syfy, followed by the release of an unrated version on home video.

Okay, I'll admit - I too hope the story is compelling, but with that in mind...it has been a long time since I've sat down to watch a heavy duty old school SFX shoot 'em up...so bring out the battlestars, baseships, raiders, vipers, and maybe some stuff we've not seen before, and take me toaster hunting!

Its made by Rockne S. O'Bannon, the guy who made *Farscape*.

And the alien languages are developed by the guy that made the Dothraki language for Game of Thrones.
