Might I have the recipe, please? I love both veggies but the idea of combining them in a soup never occurred to me.

I had "apple in a dressing gown" yesterday
That's a small de-cored and - optionally - peeled apple filled with a lump of sugar and a walnut, sprinkled with cinnamon and ginger, wrapped up in pie dough or shortbread dough and baked. Alternatively, you can fill it with raisins, mincemeat, almond paste or jam. It's also good with puff pastry. The perfect way of using up leftovers.
