Rotten Tomatoes also has it at 83% right now, which is another good sign. A few negative reviews already posted, but that can't be helped. Can't please everyone.

Well, I was going to go see it, but it sold out. That's the first time I've ever had that happen to me. I guess I'm just going to sit in the nearyby coffee shop for a while until the next showing. At least that's a good sign for the box office.

Re: Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph" trailer

My local theater had three showings (one in 3D), and none of them sold out. Actually I think I got sort of lucky, as my showing was at 6 pm and that's apparently when they tend to get slammed on Friday evenings. It was a great movie, and I have to slightly disagree with IGN's comment that the movie spent too much time in Sugar Rush. That gave the film a specific setting in which to play Ralph's misadventures, and to fill in his relationship with Vanellope. I think the movie was quite well paced actually.

Really looking forward to this. I don't drive so I have to wait until my mom and I are both next week to go see it.

Cool! Maybe I can convince Hubby to go see it this weekend.

Saw it and really enjoyed it. There are a lot gaming jokes that old-timers like me will get but the kids sure won't. It's very sweet and a lot of fun.

And the little short before the film was awesome.

Yes! Saw it tonight and liked it. Both the short and the movie were very cute. I want to play that sugar game now!

Re: Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph" trailer

We took the kids to go see it yesterday, I thought it was very clever, and while it was a good movie, I can't claim it as great. My 10 year old son loved it, but I know a lot of the old school video game references went right over his head. My 4 year old daughter mostly slept through it, and my wife was ambivalent towards it.

I give Wreck It Ralph an A-.

I give the short before an A.

I give my daughter a smack for talking too loudly during both ;-)

I was wondering if any kids these days would know what the Konami code is.

I saw it today and I thought it was great. Really, really enjoyed the film. It had nostaglia, terrific voice acting, and a lot of heart. I loved the world they created here.

I'm embarrassed to say that I though Ralph was voiced by Seth Rogen the entire time. It sounded exactly like him.

Paperman was a fantastic short as well.

I guess they do sound kind of alike, though I think also it's easy to distinguish between the two. Some people had negative feelings on Silverman's performance, but I think she did a good job personally.
