Or perhaps something more like Senator Vreenak's shuttle. About the same size as a runabout, but it has that cool Romulan aesthetic and a cloaking device. Yeah, I'd go with that.
You do realize that's not a real shuttle, right?

Runabout, since that seems to be the only one that to have a bed. Bed, replicators, a man could live in there.

Although, those "speedboat" shuttles on Voyager were quite nice looking.

I'd have to go with a Runabout too. It's a good mix of space, speed and functionality that no other class can match.

Whenever I see the Runabout, I think Space Winnebago or Flying RV.

I dunno why, but that's the thought that runs through my head everytime I see it.

I still find the Type 7 a charming design.

If I have to be confined to one, it would be a runabout. Roomy and comfortable. I can't believe that Scotty spent too much time in that flying box that Picard gave him.

Where was the toilet in Scottie's shuttle?

One of my fanwank ships is so big, it carries modified Defiant-class Starships as shuttles. So, one of those.

But if selecting from canon, I agree with TiberiusMaximus: Senator Vreenak's shuttle.

Ah fanwank...good times.

For multiple reasons, including nostalgia, I'd go for a Type 7. Runabouts are out because I don't think of them as shuttles. Plus they're too busy with retro greebles and things.

Runabout. It's basically a small ship with quarters and a dining room unlike the standard shuttles we see in TNG.

I also add my vote for a runabout. And I'd put holo emitters in the aft cabin.
