Not unlike Cal, which is actually the University of California, Berkeley (not to be confused with any of the nine other Universities of California, including UCLA). USC is a private school.

It looked much worse even than that. I've heard all the Willis McGahee comparisons being thrown out, and I think they're spot on. It would also seem to speak well for Lattimore's chances, considering that McGahee is still going strong ten years after his injury and now has Peyton Manning as his QB. I for one still hope to watch Marcus Lattimore on Sundays.

Watching it at first I thought it was much more like the Napolean McCallum injury...

It's amazing to think he still may be able to play football.

Yeah, I thought it would be a lot worse. Initial reports I heard had both bones broken in the lower legs and all his tendons torn. And based on the video, there was little reason to doubt that.

Every FBS team that has beaten Colorado has lost the following week. Last week, Oregon beat Colorado.

Barkley did everything he could, but the defense brought nothing.

After watching last night's slate of games, it is clear that Alabama AND LSU would destroy Kansas State, Notre Dame, Oregon, and anyone else in the field. How is it conscionable to give up that many points? And Notre Dame has been exceptionally lucky. It's one thing to have a shutdown defense, but you still need to score points to win the game, and Pitt's defense isn't exactly world class.

Ridiculous. Three turnovers, including the first two INTs all season, and a fumble. Two of those turnovers IN THE FRICKIN REDZONE. They were doing everything they could to give this one away.

I still think they're the best team in the nation.

Okay, to explain, I root for three schools:
#1 - Georgia Tech (I graduated from there)
#2 - Auburn (My wife and father-in-law both have degrees from there)
#3 - Texas A&M (I have many relatives that went there)

#2 also means that I frequently root against Alabama, especially since I'm living amongst many obnoxious Bama fans. That game tonight was just absolutely perfect from my POV - Bama getting taken down a few notches, and it being done by a team I have a personal stake in!
