star trek into darkness trailer release date

Hi I have a quick question. I have been waiting so long for a trailer for star trek into darkness I am starting to get annoyed becuase I remember hearing that the trailer will be released this fall and now there saying it will be released around Christmas or by the end of the year. I have heard rumors that it coudld be released along with movies such as skyfall, jack reacher, and the hobbit but what do people here think?

Skyfall is out in UK, no word of a ST trailer.

Did anyone else's heart beat a little faster when they say "Star Trek Into Darkness Release Date" only to be disappointed when opening up the thread?

Abrams confirms that the Star Trek Into Darkness trailer coming at the end of the year. which the film will have a large audience in December? The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Children, teens, women. It is this audience that the studio wants to watch the movie, besides the trekkers, of course.

JJ and his Buddies can't keep this over the top secrecy for long,we are gonna get somthing soon and somtimes you can tell from a trailer whether the movie will rock or suck.

Er, no, most of the time you can't tell anything about a movie from its trailer, because the trailer usually takes scenes completely out of context, or there will be scenes in the trailer that aren't actually in the movie.

etc.

SW:Episode 1 and batman and robin had all these in their tailers.
