Jennifer Lien Was Arrested in July???

I was Googling Jennifer Lien and noticed that she was arrested in Tennessee in July 2012 for domestic assault. Did anyone hear about that? Here is a link to the site (it isn't an official government site). It's very sad. Hopefully, it was just a big misunderstanding and she is doing well...

Very surprising story. However, it doesn't alter my opinion of her as an extremely nice person, and as you say, it's probably a misunderstanding.

Somewhere on the interwebz, Lynx is a shattered mess over this.

A cursory google search yields only this other site mentioning the arrest, and then brings up a couple of TrekBBS pages (including, unfortunately, this rather distasteful thread from 2009.)

I'm sure something will get leaked about the particulars of this matter, and knowing Star Trek nerds, I'm sure someone'll be along to speculate about it. Let's just hope that if she's at fault that she gets the help she needs to work through whatever issues she's facing now.

I'm surprised she didn't get arrested for crashing her car into a building then going back in time to prevent herself from ever appearing in Voyager.

First off, I was amazed that she was really 6 foot 4 inches tall... Which would make the rest of voyagers cast between 7 and 8 feet tall, unless Jennifer was walking on her knees through most scenes... Only to blink and notice the ruler was actually in centermeters not feet. 64 centermeters is about what I expected.

Second, she has the same hair style as Kate Mulgrew right now.

What a striking coincidence!

I'd think very few actually have criminal records, even though many technically break the law (speeding, as an example).

I guess all the people who said Jennifer Lien couldn't get arrested after Voyager feel pretty silly right now...

That's very shallow of her. Phlox's toenails were much worse and yet he had no problems with the ladies.
