TNG: The Persistence of Memory by David Mack Review Thread (Spoilers!)

Just ordered Immortal Coil myself. I'd missed a few until Destiny came out and have been (slowly) catching up with some of the older stuff too.

I'm just wondering now whether to wait till all three are out and read them (and Immortal coil) in one go or as they come.

This is a novel I definitely want to read .i can't wait to find out the rest of the story of what happens to B-4 after reading the sample chapter.It's story I've wnted to see in a novel for a long time.

Of course not, any more than it's impossible to watch "The Cage" without having seen the battle on Rigel VII. You're filled in on what you need to know. But Immortal Coil is certainly worth having as a companion piece to the trilogy.

^ What Christopher said. You can read my Cold Equations trilogy without having read Immortal Coil, as I recap the important details in the text, but I think it will resonate more profoundly for those who have read Jeff's novel.

Without giving the game away, I'm interested to know why it's a sequel to that novel? Was it interest on your part or an editorial suggestion? Or did the current trilogy come first and then realised aspects fit and made it a sequel (if that makes sense)?

There are plenty of used copies available from Amazon, Alibris, and other online book vendors. Or you could try your local library.
