Who would you love to see cast in the next series?

As the title says, are there any actors or actresses out there that you would love to see cast in the next series?

You can be as realistic or outrageous as you want (though please make sure they're living, no zombies on set please

).

If you want, you can create a character idea for them as well.

For me, I would love to see Summer Glau in the next Trek series. I don't know exactly why, but I love her.

I nominate 44 year old Michael Weatherly from NCIS. A real good looking guy, with a nice wide acting range. Just right for starship Captain.

The OP didn't just limit our choices to just who we'd like to see play captain either, so that's different from the other thread.

I'd nominate Arthur Darvill (who recently played Rory Williams on Doctor Who) as an occasionally high-strung, but still loveable chief engineer.

That other thread was for starship captain, this is for any cast member, regular or recurring. For example, I could see 31 year old Summer Glau being Operations or Science Officer.

Lance Reddick is my vote for the next captain. He's a big Trekkie and Fringe is ending so he'll be at liberty soon.

I'd like to see Ben Browder cast as a villain of some sort.

Eventually, in Star Trek: MY Way, Summer Glau will portray a robot with a positronic brain. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
