Hey all. Old time Trekbbs'er reporting in. Wow has it really been 5 years since I was last here. How time flies. Any old schoolers still around? Anyone remember the longest thread ever?

I remember. I'm a very old timer. In fact, I was around when the boards operated on nothing more than the UNIVAC computer system, a bunch of punch cards and a very exhausted white rat running inside a wheel.

It's a weird time to ask since you have to hunt for people's names (since we have Halloween names, you have to look in location). I've been here officially since 2003 (in reality, I registered just before the great board crash, had my account erased, and re-registered). Even though that's almost 10 years, I don't consider myself an old-timer. Maybe there needs to be more than one term. I can be an old timer, but other people can be really old timers (ancient timers?).
