A Vulcan in a volcano. Brilliant!
But we also know it's not a Vulcan volcano.
A Vulcano?
Voilà! In view, a video of a valorous vulcan vexed by a violent volcano!

I can't believe the outrage going on here and on Trekmovie. It was a cool gag. Get a sense of humour, people, FFS!!!!!

But is the outrage real? I thought it was all parody.

If you think they're bad, you should see the comments when this was posted on Facebook. They're still not over Trek being rebooted, let alone being able to face JJ on Conan.

The bulk of it is, but, CounselorTroi senses there's a couple of posts with genuine outrage

There are some folks still getting over the outrage they felt following the Variety announcement back in April 2006.

All you can really do is say "Okay, that's... nice," and take your earliest opportunity to make a graceful exit, because reasonable discussion just ain't going to be happening.

Not unlike the fabled Japanese soldier, holed up on a island, still fighting World War II long after the war is over . . . .

This is of course part of the scene where Obi Wan (Benedict Cumberbatch) fights Spock inside the volcano, and then Spock turns into Darth Vadar.

There by completing Abram's transformation of Star Trek into Star Wars.
