SF/F Avatar Contest: Younger selves

The theme for this contest is younger versions of characters. Could be via flashbacks, prequels, or any other method you can think of. Be creative!

Another two I've just wanted to showcase. I'm not entering Bond because the character himself is not SF/F, and Superboy would most likely split votes.
