And I stick by what I said, even if I can't spell his name.
I don't disagree with the sentiment at all. I just see his name misspelled often on this board. Which always surprises me.

It only appeared in the credits like 12 times, that's nowhere near enough repetition for me to remember it.

I've seen it spelled with the extra "e" so many times, I have to stop and think every time I write his name, LOL

Exactly. Now if he'd done like ten or eleven seasons....

No, that's just you being lazy.

Honestly, it can't be that taxing to look it up when you mention him.

If you think misspelling Christopher Eccleston's name is bad, have I got a story for you.

Last summer I attended a sales presentation given by BBC America to their Doctor Who licensing partners. The presenter from BBCA, who was very enthusiastic, kept referring to the actor "David Ecclestein" as the actor who portrayed the Doctor before Matt Smith. It was all I could do not to laugh.

Heh, definitely not a fan of the show. Tennant's last name is the easiest to remember David "10"nant

I would've just laughed. If he can't be bothered to get it right...

Good lord, Man...it's called A JOKE! I shouldn't have to include five hundred smilies with a statement that is obviously me JOKING!

Yes, I would have liked Eccleston to stay in the job longer. Of course I could look up his name if I want to.

It. Was. A. Joke.

Maybe if he stuck around we'd have figured out how to spell his name.

You don't see it but I think most people do. There's something of the night about this Doctor.
Something of the shite more like it.

What's that even supposed to mean anyway? He's not Michael Howard.

We must be watching a different show. In fact, I'd think I was watching a magic mirror if I was Jar Jar Binks watching the Eleventh Doctor.
I'm fairly certain you've been watching a different show for years now.
Wish I bloody had been.

Could you be a little more precise? I'm not sure if you're joking or not. Thanks!

Agreed, on both counts.

Since this show never has anything constructive to say, everyone dismisses it as a monotonous, one-trick pony with no style and no substance, no plot development and a large degree of immaturity. The previous regeneration was equally long on promise and short on delivery.
