Well, he did say there were probably more Yankee fans than Blue Jay fans.

Despite losing to the Phillies tonight, the Nats clinch the NL East title! (because the Braves lost)

That would explain why everyone on the metro (including Phillies fans) seemed to be in a good mood.

Fun fact: Mike Trout has faced King Felix and Yu Darvish the most out of any pitchers this year.

His performance:

Felix: 19 PA: .529/.588/.882
Darvish: 21 PA: .353/.476/.765

What about poor Mr. Met?

Just for that post, I'm rooting for Baltimore this postseason.

If it's a Nats-Orioles World Series, I'm thinking about 7 people would watch. When I don't have a dog in the fight, I hope for traditional powers to make it to give me some interest. My hope would be a Cards-Yanks WS.

If the Yankees don't make it into the WS, I really won't care who wins, unless the Braves do make it in which case I will root for whoever plays against them. They are the only team in this fight who I would actually like to see lose.

He's had a hell of a year. Too bad we couldn't reward him with a playoff appearance.

With the Oakland and Baltimore success this year, I feel bad for poor Pittsburgh.

There's always the Steelers.

I was in the 7th grade the last time they had a winning season, I'm now 32.

Ben Sheets just pitched his last major league inning. 94 wins, 1,325 KOs. 4x All-Star. Seems like a really cool guy and I enjoyed watching him pitch in his brief stint in Atlanta.

I unfortunately have to work tonight but I can listen to it on the Radio. Should be an amazing game and if the A's can pull it off, wouldn't that basically give Bob Melvin Manager of the Year. Pity there can't be co-managers of the year because Showalter deserves it too.

I could live with either of those two winning Manager of the Year for AL. I'm thinking it has to be Davy Johnson for the NL.
