^Emilia, you deserve a prize for your Halloween name/avatar. I can't even bring myself to address you by that name.

I didn't create it, so I don't care.

I think it works best with Mitt's words (in quotations) over the top of photos of actual Ferengi.
Yeah, that would be funnier. but "They can't quit, they're holograms" did make me smile.
I agree, but there are only so many funny and pertinent Romney quotes, and I've already used most of them hahah.

I didn't know that even a Ferengi would go as far as to let themselves be assimilated for profit.

^There's no profit in it. Borg always struck me as a kind of satire on Communism. Collectivism's only profitable if you're the boss--namely, the Queen. The bourgeoisie are the first to get rounded up and shot....

So...no Ferengi Borg. They'd rather die than be Borg. Borg are all broke.

I'm sure the former kings and queens of the Soviet Union would like to have a word with you about different political systems.

^Mm-hmm! And he constantly had the look of a kindly gentleman--far from the look of a Ferengi even at one's most charming....

As I recall...the kings and queens were routed out by the White Revolution. The Reds--the Soviets--then had a revolution of their own and routed out the "Ferengi".

So...I'm not sure what your point is, madam.

The Borg Queen would be comparable to the General Secretary/Comrade Premier. Lenin, Stalin, you get the idea.

I think this has largely run its course as far as what the OP was about is concerned.
