Hell, he's even able to deal with force lightning directly.
Why is that a problem or an indicator of anything important? Yoda is a skilled force-user.
In the games, lightning is always a dark side power. Selecting it from the powers menu gives you Darkside points in the shooters and you can't take it at all unless you rape a sufficiently large number of puppies in the RPGs.

The only other person who uses it without being insanely pointlessly evil is Kyle Katarn and he doesn't count because he's a totally broken mary sue.
I don't bother with any of that - is there anything in the films to suggest it's a problem?

The only thing in the films that suggests it might be a problem is that only Sith are ever seen using it - Palpatine and Dooku. It seems pretty clear that Force lightning would be a manifestation of the Dark Side since it causes excruciating pain, and that isn't exactly something the Jedi would typically seek to inflict.

The Yoda example doesn't quite work as any sort of evidence that Light Side practitioners may also use Force lightning, since he doesn't generate it himself but merely collects and redirects it at the enemy who first used it.
