SciFi/Fantasy Avatar Contest - Ctrl-Alt-Del
So, this week's contest is all about the reboots. For those unclear on a reboot, its when the same character is used, but with a new castin' choice and new continuity from what was previously established. Christian Bale as Batman is a reboot. Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner is not. All entries have to conform to board rules - up to 150x150, and 140KB if animated. Entries should be posted by Friday mornin' so I can get the poll goin' in time for the weekend, dependin' on my work schedule. A recap will be posted Thursday. Good luck!

As alternatives, I suggest MoS, though basically most other Superman incarnations would also qualify as reboots. L&C, SV, all cartoons after the Fleischer ones, even the Richard Donner movie could be considered a reboot of a franchise formerly associated in the general public with the 50s TV show.

Though I would be more likely to vote for Kevin Spacey's Lex Luthor than Brandon Routh's Superman...hell, I'd vote for Brandon Routh's Clark Kent before I voted for his Superman. |
