Re: The TNG Quiz

Well it's been 24 hours and nobody has answered. According to the rules in the first post anyone can ask a new question now.

I don't want to though.

Re: The TNG Quiz

Okay, I have a question: How many known casualties did the Enterprise have at the end of Q Who?

18, according to Ensign Gomez if I remember correctly.

You might be right. I didn't bother to check.

No. But close.
18 was the total number of missing. I'm looking for total casualties.

Re: The TNG Quiz

But Picard said to Q "18 of our people have died" I just assumed that the report Worf gives of 18 people "Missing" meant they were all dead, lost when 3 decks of the hull were excised

I don't know of any other number referenced as being "Known casualties" at the end of Q-Who. 18 lost in the laser attack, & one Borg killed by Worf

Although, some non-canon sources have suggested that none of the 18 died. They were assimilated

For the purposes of keeping track I believe being assimilated still counts as being a casualty.

At least the the perspective that Admiral Hansen uses when he calls Picard a casualty of war in TBOBW.

Yeah, I was just mentioning it. I didn't really think it should apply

Re: The TNG Quiz

19 is the correct answer.
A casualty is anyone, killed, missing or injured. 18 were taken from the saucer and assimilated. One security officer was injured in Engineering by the first Borg drone. And by the way he was flung against the wall and landed clutching his chest, he was injured.

Re: The TNG Quiz

It's been two days, so I'll throw an easy one out there.

What was the first new Federation starship design seen in TNG, besides the Galaxy-class Enterprise?

PS I'm still curious as to the answer to Satyrquaze's question.

My girlfriend suggested the Constellation Class.

Re: The TNG Quiz

She's right. Season 1. When I wrote the question I was thinking of the Nebula Class but Constellation is definitely the right answer.

Sorry, Mr_Homn correctly pointed out that Denise Crosby was listed in the opening credits throughout the remainder of the season. I didn't bother looking it up and just assumed that she was wasn't listed after "Skin of Evil".

So, I guess I should just defer my next correct answer to him.

Want to see if we can keep this thread going.

What was the destination of the USS Lalo?
