The third film could be The Search for the Spock Factory.
Well, they might find the building it was based in, but the actual factory closed down after a production run of a single unit when a clumsy worker broke the mould.

My guess is the latest version is a Chinese knock off. Sure, it ticks a number of boxes but its obviously based on an earlier prototype so it doesn't have the same impact and then there’s the question of its longevity.

Yes, credit where its due, that was classic Spock (in fact I wouldn't be surprised if there is a similar scene in TOS ),
Yep, I posted about it here:

Ah yes, so you did. In fact now you remind me, I remember completely forgetting about that.

It will NEVER be recalled.

I've got to do some Spock/Prime Spock appreciation stuff when I have the time. This thread needs a little life...

Re: Spock & Spock Prime: Was the Torch Successfully Passed?

We'll have to ask the Admiral Janeway/Captain Janeway and Tom/Will Riker crowd.

No, nothing's wrong with loving yourself. It's healthy. And of course I'm talking of friendship.

So far, so good. I think Quinto's was the best performance of the new cast. He doesn't have the voice, but he does create a convincing version of Spock.

I liked his performance the best too. People keep saying that he doesn't have "the voice," but I think his voice works out well for the part.

Less than 'I loved it', but more than 'he did okay'. Quinto obviously took pains to prove he cared about doing the character justice.

I was somewhat distracted by his [bigger than Nimoy's] nose.

I thought Zachary was incredible in the role. That scene where he was narrating the captain's log after the destruction of Vulcan and the camera crept up on his face while he intones "I am now a member of an endangered species..." (paraphrasing) choked me up. The look on his face, the bleakness in his eyes...

He's a good actor, that kid. I wish him well. And I know he's got Nimoy in his corner so he'll be okay.

I would say Zachary was perfect..although people seem to be concerned about his soft voice in comparison to Nimoy's authoritative voice.

May I also add that Zachary Quinto as Spock was one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen in my entire life

Yes.. yes you may add that.

Though I'll have to put him down as second most beautiful because of my Rodney McKay fixation. NuSpock is really a revelation of perfect.
