Wasn't one of the Watchers on Highlander missing a leg or two?

Not sure about missing a leg, but The Main Watcher Joe Dawson (Plyed by Jim Byrnes does limp and walk with a cane)

Re: SF/F Characters with Disabilities

yeah, in the show he was missing both legs, after a land mine caught him in Vietnam...

Joe enlisted in the Marines and was sent to fight in Vietnam, serving under the command of Andrew Cord, an Immortal. In 1968, after seeing Cord shot, Joe accidentally stepped on a landmine, blowing himself up. He was saved by the resurrected Cord, who carried him on his back the six miles to the nearest field hospital. There he tried to tell the psychiatrist that it had been Cord who had saved him, but was told that Cord was dead. Later, he was told that he had his legs amputated.
So ironically, it was the immortal in Vietnam that saved his life, and got him interested in the Watchers in the first place
