Well, crap. Football hit my trifecta of suckage in the opening weekend. Georgia Tech lost, Auburn lost, and Georgia won.

Re: College Football 2012

Florida State beat the crap out of FCS Murray State and leapfrogged Georgia in the rankings. I know Georgia didn't beat Buffalo that badly, but still...

Look for an upset win of Oregon State over Wisconsin this weekend. You heard it here first.

Not bad.

If you could have predicted Sacramento State over Colorado, that would have been really something!

My grandpa was at the USC/Syracuse game at the Meadowlands. A total mess. Over an hour delay due to weather, the stadium mostly empty. Tornadoes.

Savannah State basically had the mercy rule called on them last night.

It invalidated Vegas bets, too. I wanted to see if they could get a hundred points put up on them... haven't seen that in a while.

Or Louisana-Monroe over Arkansas. What a shocker THAT was!

Re: College Football 2012

Week 3 Upset Picks:

Tennessee over Florida. Probably not much of an upset, and Tennessee might even be favored by the end of the week.

Wake Forest over Florida State

FSU gets lazy after creaming two cupcakes and falters. At least look for them to cover the spread.

I like the way you think.

I also like the fact that the Vols are ranked for the first time since 2008. It's almost hard to believe it's been that long.

Insert your choice of expletive here.

I don't even know why I get my hopes up for the Florida game anymore. Whom do the Vols have to kill to catch a break against the boys from Gainesville? And when the hell are they going to remember that, when the chips are down, you still have to play all 60 minutes?!

Stanford upset USC. After the Disaster created by Jeff Tedford today in the Ohio St. game, this is much more satisfying news. It's unreal to me that USC can beat anyone, yet they always have a hard time against Stanford. Not that I'm complaining though.

Congrats to Stanford on a victory well-earned. USC couldn't do anything right last night. Barkley looked terrible. We couldn't run the ball. Stanford's defensive front played a hell of a game.

If Stanford had any kind of decent kicker, it could've been even worse.

I expect USC will drop significantly in the polls.

Well, damn! Who is Alabama going to play in the National Title game now????

I guess it's just going to have to be LSU, again.
