Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is a Canadian actress, DJ and singer best known for her role as Steffy Forrester on the long-running American soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful." She moved to Toronto to pursue acting at the age of 18. Her first big break came with playing the "hair girl" on a commercial for First Choice Haircutters, which is still running. As a DJ, she released her debut single "After Hours," a dance-influenced song in January 2012.

Set in Los Angeles, The Bold and the Beautiful centers upon the Forrester family and their fashion house business Forrester Creations. The program features an ensemble cast, headed by its longest-serving actors Susan Flannery as Stephanie Forrester, John McCook as Eric Forrester, Katherine Kelly Lang as Brooke Logan, Ronn Moss as Ridge Forrester -- also known as the core four. The Bold and the Beautiful is also a sister show to The Young and the Restless, as several characters from each of the two shows have crossed over to the other since the early 1990s, and its title derived from The Young and the Restless.

In all the time we've been doing this she is only the second or so actress I've never heard of. Some I've heard of just not seen much of their work but I liked the personality that came across in the video. Having seen the video it might partially explain why I was digging the pic of her on the bike. She loves motorcycles and there is a sense of confidence in that pic. Plus the forward wind swept hair is a good look in that pic.

Yeah, she is pretty hot. Looks like I've seen her in Skyrunners and MVP, but I don't remember her.

I see that she's going to be in the new CW series Arrow as Sarah Lance, sister of Dinah Lance/Black Canary. Looks like it's a guest role in the pilot though, and she won't be leaving The Bold and the Beautiful.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is my second pick for this year. I first became aware of her a few years ago when I briefly watched The Bold and the Beautiful (yeah, yeah, I know... I was unemployed at the time and had nothing better to do ).

She's actually a bit more modelesque than the type I usually go for, but I found myself quite attracted to her... a very sexy young lady. And I didn't realize until later that I had actually seen her before in that First Choice Haircutters commercial, which had gotten a lot of airplay.

Okay...to be perfectly honest, most of the pics give the impression that something is causing her to be streeeeeeeeeeeeatched up-and-down, or something--particularly the face.

I dunno. Some of the pics don't give that "feel"...

I completely agree and I was looking for other pictures when you posted this. A lot of those pics are very hard and artificial looking. She's much more beautiful when she doesn't get whatever lighting/makeup photoshop treatment a lot of those pics employ.
