Probably just coincidence.

Any idea if BBC America will be carrying it for the U.S.?
Was wondering this myself. Maybe PBS? Has anyone heard anything about it airing in the U.S.?

Did Back to Earth ever air over here? Maybe this will just go straight to home video.

Well it's a BBC Worldwide production, BBC Worldwide own BBC America so I'd assume there if anywhere.

Nah, some PBS stations had it in the late 80's - early 90's, but they lost so much NEA money , I doubt they'd go for it now.

Though, the Chicago station does have nuWho.

I'm really hoping for BBCA-HD, otherwise I'll do the short wait for the blu-rays.
