While Japanese is really a pain in the ass with its three scripts (bloody Kanji driving me insane while learning it)
I stopped it before even learning Hiragana, and with Kanji I stopped after a few lessons on how to draw them. At one point I thought I'd let my computer write them and read them for me, and I'd just learn romaji, but that didn't help much. I should have went to a proper teacher I guess...

Now each time I see a Japanese text I feel sorry I'm such a lazy panda. If it was one phonetically-based script, I would have had a bigger incentive to finish learning it... Hangul appears much more attractive in that respect. I wanted to know a language with a completely different writing system, though.

Learning to speak Japanese isn't too difficult. It's the ridding and the riting that's a pain.

I thought The Great Raid was an excellent movie, but no one saw it.

that's how I liked her - as the tough New York cop.
Okay that sounds very promising. I'm going to have to look that up.
She is in episodes 2 through 8 of the eighth season.

Thanks MLB I will look that up, though I never watch those shows. I think she has a very classics face and would be great set in a 40's era film, but the tough cop thing is a whole other side.

Hint for the next BOTW (don't answer if you know):

I got a lot to say to you
Yeah, I got a lot to say
I noticed your eyes are always glued to me
Keeping them here
And it makes no sense at all

They taped over your mouth
Scribbled out the truth with their lies
You little spies
They taped over your mouth
Scribbled out the truth with their lies
You little spies

Short of copy/paste that into google I have no idea where this clue leads.

Is it something like a show or movie this is tied to or just the female singer?
Having been off the boards all day due to an actual busy day at work I though I'd find some additional hints by other BBS'ers. But no so I googled the lyrics and got a band name.
If it is the pics will be necessary cause Google Image search has me unimpressed with that neon red hair.

I wonder how many languages the people commenting in this thread actually know!
8 actually.
I could say 7 but then I would have to include Piedmontese, Sicilian and Emilian.

But as mentioned, she's an attractive woman who brought class and sexiness to the Mars mission.

I also liked her in Gladiator and One Hour Photo.

I see from last week's thread that some of you really don't like Gladiator. Why the hate? Just curious. I last saw it when it first came out and remember it being pretty good.
On the same topic, Mission to Mars is the fucking. Worst. Movie. Ever.

It makes it into a top 10 for sure. When I was thinning the ranks of my collection this past Spring it went into the "sell it back" ranks. I took the $2 for it grateful to get something.
