Yeah, in hind sight I kind of miss some of the 80's music.

I remember talking with my friends while at a high school dance in the 80's...we were so convinced that this music would just be forgotten. My friend said "We have 60's theme dances, even the occasional 50's theme...no one will ever have an 80's dance theme"

My, how wrong we were!

I was having a hard time getting started this morning (I'm trying to cut back on coffee) and I put "Come on Eileen" in the disc player...now I'm cheered up and ready to face the day(...just pretend you don't see the slight tremor in my hand as I go through caffeine withdrawal...)

And Jeff O'Connor, watch it Junior! I may be old enough to be your mother, but certainly not your grandma!! Tread carefully sonny! LOL!

LOL, I'm getting flak all over the place for bringing her up a lot lately!

But no worries, she was rather young for being my grandma, and quite hip and happenin' on the 80's and even 90's scenes. She used to play things like Depeche Mode in-between commercials breaks of TNG, because she wanted something "better than commercials".
