Re: Art that doesn't need its own thread
![]() Posted this in Misc, thought it could go here too. I've never seen a Star Trek version of this one. Figured I'd fix that.

The little guy in the seat is my version of David Gerrold's "Bandi," from one of his unsold story ideas published in his book The Trouble with Tribbles. ![]() "We'll take it!"

Re: Art that doesn't need its own thread
Well, I can't take all the credit for Verena - she's a character morph for Poser's "Aiko 3," one that removes pretty much all of the anime aspects from the character, and you're left with someone who can still 'fit into' all the clothes intended for Aiko - and she's got quite the wild wardrobe, let me tell you! Best of all, she still fits Oshikai's brilliant TOS female uniform, the best one out there IMHO, and it's nice to be able to have a completely normal-looking lady on duty, sometimes. Of course, I think she also looks pretty sweet in a Starfleet-issued bikini, as well ... maybe I should show her playing beach volleyball! (I do have a pic of her in the hot tub ... )

![]() The second is an Apollo astronaut, made for my own phone. If the moon's terrain looks familiar, it's because I recycled parts of my entry for this month's challenge to create it. ![]()

Re: Art that doesn't need its own thread
Isn't it about time for some of the slick, photoshopping artists on these forums to find a way to do a crossover between TOS and some campy 60's sitcoms? I could just see Grandpa Munster grinning ear-to-ear in place of Hakum, being flanked by two armed Lawgivers in "The Return of the Archons". Could Captain Kirk make do with Jeanie as his yeoman? Or maybe Endora instead? Maybe a landing party beams in to visit the Stevenses' home on BEWITCHED? Or maybe Kirk winds up dating Serena? It would be neat if someone could take a black-and-white image of a seated Kirk being interrogated at the Air Force Base and match it with Gomer Pyle and his Sarge, as if Kirk and Pyle are in Sarge's doghouse. I smell an art contest...
