Re: The OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Season 1 Discussion Thread
Plus, Paramount wouldn't have allowed them to keep going over-budget if the show had been struggling in the ratings.

Re: The OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Season 1 Discussion Thread
![]() EDIT: Apologies for the triple-post, just putting them out there as I'm watching the episodes. In the same episode the audio in the holodeck scene between Riker and Troi seems to be pitched to high. The audio in Haven is just a mess.

Her latest comments on the situation from an interview with the official website back in March;

Re: The OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Season 1 Discussion Thread
The ratings did continue to get better the longer the show ran, but it was an unqualified hit right out of the gate and never lost steam from a ratings perspective.

Re: The OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Season 1 Discussion Thread
I gave the review sites a pass for missing the issues on Farpoint as that had been previously released. But I'm now questioning either their objectivity or their attention to detail, as the set is a mess even on stereo tracks.
