Looks like Dave gets a Fathers Day card from Jim & Bexley in the alternate dimension.

I wonder how long it takes the post office to deliver between dimensions? 3 million years is about average for 2nd class post.

Doubt that's it, Dave Lister is the mother remember.

More likely is that he sent the card to himself, seeing as he's his own dad etc.

That was actually a good trailer. Somehow it felt like Red Dwarf, which is something I haven't seen from the show since S6. It bodes well for the show, anyway.

I may just let myself get my hopes up a bit!

Yeah, I'm sure it's on YouTube by now. Still, it's weird that you're getting a login request to view it and I don't. Maybe a region-specific thing again, like the Dave site? Dunno.

Wow, the gang just looks... old. I *know* it's more than twenty years later, but the delivery of the lines sounds tired. The writing however feels snappy, though I'm not sure if they picked the best gag lines to fill a trailer with. I hope the final product will be at least S5-6 or S8 funny. Not expecting S3-4 funny, as IMO that was Dwarf at its unparalleled best. S1-2 was a different kind of funny. S7 was a VERY different kind of funny. S9 was not funny.

The bit about Lister betting Rimmer in a poker game brought a smile to my face. This preview gives off a "back to basics" vibe for Red Dwarf. Mainly, it seems to be once again a buddy comedy set in a sci-fi environment. Looking forward to it.
