At one point during The Dark Knight Rises, I thought I was watching her, but it was Anne Hathaway.

I thought her performance in Inception was one of the best of the whole film, despite being a smaller role compared to the others. I mainly remember the haunted look she had in that film.
Her role in Inception most definitely makes it to the list of my favourite antagonists. Both the real and the dream Mal gave me goosebumps. Even though it is a long time since I saw it, the flashback from the night she died made such an impression on me that I can still remember how messed up I felt – talk about a deadlock. And Marion nailed it, a great choice for the role.

Midnight in Paris also deserves to be mentioned more in this thread. Not only it is critically acclaimed, but it was a wonderfully done time travel story with no science fiction and technobabble to spoil it. Adriana has to be the best time travel buddy you can find, if not for other reason than that she puts Gil Pender to shame despite her temporal disadvantage.

Upthread, the French posters were making French jokes about being French.

I guess that's the awkward moment when you're French and don't get it.

Here it is because it's such a gem from Laetitia Casta's thread:

Sideways. Killer bod to be sure, but there is just something about French women's faces that turns me off.
Which prompted Shaytan to admit that in France only one face is in use. Socialism.

I'm not so sure. I mean the true face of socialism is rather earnest. I've yet to meet an earnest French person.

She was good in Inception, I suppose.
