At one point during The Dark Knight Rises, I thought I was watching her, but it was Anne Hathaway.

Her role in Inception most definitely makes it to the list of my favourite antagonists. Both the real and the dream Mal gave me goosebumps. Even though it is a long time since I saw it, the flashback from the night she died made such an impression on me that I can still remember how messed up I felt – talk about a deadlock. And Marion nailed it, a great choice for the role.

Midnight in Paris also deserves to be mentioned more in this thread. Not only it is critically acclaimed, but it was a wonderfully done time travel story with no science fiction and technobabble to spoil it. Adriana has to be the best time travel buddy you can find, if not for other reason than that she puts Gil Pender to shame despite her temporal disadvantage.
