But if not, patriarchy is defined broadly by Mirriam -Webster as "control by men of a disproportionately large share of power".

Figures for the labor force and political representation suggest that the United States fits this definition.

I can't tell if they're all admirals. But out of the fifteen sitting up the front, I can see four women. Two of those are sitting at either side, rather than at the grey central desks (which may indicate higher rank).
