Yes, Roberta Lincoln. Teri Garr was great in it. But I've always thought that if they had to re-do that character, they should pull in Lisa Kudrow.
I was thinking Ashley Tisdale.

Orci did that interview with AICN
What interview with AICN are you talking about?
The interview talked about in these two threads.

http://www.trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=180070

http://www.trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=180280
Neither those threads nor that AICN interview have the slightest thing to do with Orci's "had just been doing 22 hours of press" wisecrack, which was a dig at Karl Urban's excuse for the (apparently) erroneous comment he made about Gary Mitchell. Orci's follow-up sentence ("I had just got off a flight from New Zealand…") should have made that quite plain.

Yeah, she'd be okay for it.

Lisa Kudrow is too old to play Lincoln anyway, but a younger Lisa Kudrow could literally be a clone of Teri Garr.

Or her daughter.

Very nice, I hadn't thought of miss Tisdale for the role.
