Thanks! He actually still does that when we play. Except full-sized he's a bit of a menace now.

It's not so much jumping to catch something as it is just him flinging his entire body into the air with reckless abandon. My in-laws who have had cats their whole lives are still astonished by it. I just assumed all cats were as insane, but apparently he's very athletic!

My ex wife and I had cats named Gato and Neko so I thought naming a cat dog would be a funny change of pace.
