Another Catwoman???

I'm not opposed to a Catwoman movie. But for me, the real appeal of these movies has become Nolan himself who just said he wouldn't do it. So my interest at this point is a little reluctant.

Hmm. I had actually forgotten there had been a Catwoman movie. It would be interesting to see one set in the 'Nolan-verse'.

This is it in a nutshell. In the end it's always about execution. If a new Catwoman film were well done then I'd be all for it.

A fair example? I liked the Raimi Spider-Man films overall even with the disappointment of SM3. Now along comes Mark Webb with his take and while there are quite a few things in his version I don't care for there are also things I did like. I generally liked the acting and characterizations while not caring for how he arranged a lot of the individual elements.

Other people can do good things even if they're different from what came before.

@wamdue: All I know is the villains would have to be Cheetah, Harley Quinn, and there should be at least one more but I can't think of any other non-batman villainesses.

Just found this promo poster...



I've been thinking over the last few days that I'm not ready to say goodbye to the Nolanverse and wondered if The Dark Knight Rises plans to leave something open so that more stories can be told. Batman may be over, but about Batgirl or Nightwing? I'll settle for Catwoman though. Mostly, I'm curious about how the rest of the rogues gallery would be handled and a Catwoman movie opens up that possibility. It's nice to hear that Nolan himself is open to the idea.

Excuse me, but I have seen her in other roles, but I've yet to see her play anything that wasn't a variation on Mia Thermopolous. so it's not typecasting, it's "She has the acting range of the Shat."

The Shat's had a 62 year long career. If Anne lasts even half that long then she's going to have a really good run. Better than most anyway.

I fear that despite the attractive female leads, the public may look at the poster of this movie, and ask themselves, who are these women? Far enough Harley Quinn, but could they do Catwoman (& Batwoman?) vs Harley Quinn movie?
