Re: Brave: Review, Discuss, DVD, Sequel, ect.
"La Luna" was adorable. I enjoyed "Brave" and so did the nieces, but it wasn't Pixar's best, I loved the main character, I loved the family dynamics, I loved the different clans and the humor, but the main plot was a bit underwhelming. Still, it was better than most of the kid's movies you see these days and the animation was wonderful. I also really liked the fact that the female lead was ACTIVE; she wasn't looking for some boy to save her, nor did she play second-fiddle to anyone.
I gave it an "Above Average."
"This boy is Ignorance. This girl is Want. Beware them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written which is Doom, unless the writing be erased." -Dickens.
