I didn't know that when I started watching the show, though, so when I went to try to read the books, I couldn't get into them. *shrug* You don't need the books to enjoy the show.

Well, my season 2 DVDs showed up last week and I'm finally caught up with everything.

Whoa!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Sl-tYuqi1o

That look Jane gave Maura in the final seconds... and this just coming 3 weeks after "He aint heavy.."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELa_sChZeGg

Who reconciles these two friends?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oGHS5eWrFI

Will it be Mama Rizzoli?

Will it be Mama Isles?

Will it be screwup Tommy?

Will it be the three amigos, Frankie, Frost and Korsak?

Or will it be someone from left field...

someone we haven't even met yet?

Isn't it about time that plane from Tanzania arrives with Professor Isles? Would love to see him go up against Paddy Doyle, and make Maura decide who her "Daddy" really is.

I wonder how long into the season it'll take for two BFFs to reconcile. Probably one or two episodes is my guess.

^^ I agree. Since this cable show is limited to (?) 15 eps, they can't drag it out too long.

Thank gawd.

TVguide has some interesting teasers for tonight's premiere... and season 3 in general.

Well, the baddies were pretty easy to identify as there were very few guest stars so there wasn't a lot of people to choose from.

The fighting between Jane and Maura was borderline childish as times. But it wasn't as intense as I was expecting which is a good thing since I don't want them fighting for too long. i didn't see the preview for next week but i'm guessing that they'll be best buds by the end of the episode.

It was enjoyable, and I agree they aren't going to drag this "rift" out too long. Maura seemed ready to end it, as did Jane several times last night but they both kept screwing it up. I loved Angela's comment to Maura as she was hugging her goodbye.

For REAL spoiler JUNKIES.... http://absolutelyangie.blogspot.com/...-season-3.html

ETA: Promos for next week!

Poor Frost and Korsak.

Do you think Korsak is worried that someone is out to kill R & I... or that R & I might kill each other?

A great series of articles... most with spoilers.

http://rizzlesepisodereviews.blogspo...-articles.html

My fav "out take" comment is the 2 "in a closet" as Maura starts explaining the "History of leather and its significance in sexuality" while her acting partner can't keep a straight face.

I KNEW Dr Pike would post his footage of the catfight on Youtube!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_f6Ak4-Pf1o

I liked this week's ep. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=END9j...feature=relmfu

Sure, like R&I can do, some plot points just stretch the imagination too much, still I love the interactions of the characters, whether its Frankie busting Jane's chops over the TP tail, or Jane pretending Korsak was her husband, or Mama Rizzoli trying to play 'matchmaker' for these two who can't let bygones be bygones.

I have to say, the car accident nearly made me lose my lunch!

I did like the end... in the car, when Maura told Jane she should call Mama and tell her they had made up.

I knew they'd be back to being close friends after this episode. Their hearts really weren't into the fight all that much anyways.

Papa Rizzoli... douchbag!

Glad the show is back. This second episode of the season was a tense one and I'm glad to see Jane and Maura back as friends. They are like peanut butter and jelly!

Jane's father wanting to annul his marriage is despicable and selfish. He should take his divorce like a man and just get married through a Justice of the Peace instead for the second marriage. Instead, he wants to invalidate a long marriage and children he had with his first wife. Definitely douchey behavior.

I felt for Jane when she looked at her Father in the cafe and said..."I used to idolize you." before running off to consiole her Mom.

Of course, I also loved it when Mama Rizzoli was arguing with Jane about growing up "All I'm going through and you two can't be civil?"

and Jane complains, "Don't you pull the annulment card."
