Did the revision look any better? I increased the size of the tubes on the profile and reworked the bow view.
Yes it did

Re: My parts page

How do these scale out relative to an actual Excelsior secondary hull?

I don't know...I suspect DrX intended it to be the same scale in his original, and I still have one of those...my later versions scale out smaller, but I'm not sure by how much.

Edit: Here's a link to the write up of the class of ship the hull is for. My original estimate is a bit off...it's supposed to be a "tween" ship of the Connie and Excelsior in size:

Re: My parts page

I was asked to rework the supercruiser 2ndary a bit. An "impulse deck" was suggested, as well as a bit of rounding on the ventral contour.

Here's what I came up with:

Re: My parts page

Good idea about the impulse deck cus then any design with this hull will be able to go to 0 to .75 of light speed much faster

Well, it isn't really an "impulse deck" as you can see (no engine), but it is an expansion to give more room that would allow a bigger Main Engineering with a larger reactor to feed power to the impulse engine in the saucer (as was done in that time frame, hence the Impulse Deflection Crystal Assembly).
