Make sure to join the TrekBBS channel:

Rightclick the chat tab on top of the chat box, choose channels and enter TrekBBS Subspace Com

Also the Tailor has our fancy TrekBBS themed uniform waiting for you. Just select it from the fleet uniform dropdown, put the fleet shoulder patch on and you can show of our colors.

the fleet bank has a wide selection of rare gear.

If you provide the unreplicatable materials our fleet crafters
can help with gear that's not in the bank.

Don't be afraid to ask if you need help with missions or PvP and STFs or simply want to experience the awesomeness of team play.

Unless the signup has changed, there was a warning about using the same player name as your account name. So "Rocketeer_7" is my player name and it's much different than my account name.

Someone mentioned changing names. You can change a character's name by buying a token from the C-store. I think you can change your account name, but it would be a pain. You'd probably have to explain to Cryptic/PWE that you suspected that someone was trying to hack it.

I started a new thread for fleet recruitment and discussion of fleet matters with a FAQ section in the first post that should give all necessary informations on how to join the fleet, how to get the fleet uniform, how to join the fleet chat, etc.
