What really got to me the first time I read Jane Eyre was that I assumed as the ending neared that it would turn out he had died. I was very shocked at the happy ending which pleased me greatly.

You didn't get that I was comparing my entire gender to 40 year old cars, or broke down ramshackle houses? although. Men do like Human fixerupper. It's just that...
