OK, both of you can knock it the hell off. Not in the mood.

Why does an entire film get precedent over a final act that people have been waiting ***years*** to see?
Pretty much because those of us who actually work on these movies for free feel like it.

There are better, more nuanced answers as well of course...but that particular question phrased in that way didn't deserve one of them IMAO.
Oh ok, you got me Keyboard Kommando. I'm mortally wounded.

Anyhoo, I got an answer. Don't really care how you chose to phrase your little rant. Good luck with your constipation, dude.

As I understand it, just Act IV.
It's Act 4, yes. As has been discussed in the past, the real problem act was Act 3, and in fixing it the opening pages of Act 4 became the end of Act 3. This caused some problems that I won't get into, but in short the truncated Act 4 didn't play well. So I junked the previous edit, went back to the script, reviewed all the unused footage to see what we had to work with, and started rebuilding.

A few people have seen the first 5 minutes of the act and the consensus seems to be it's a big improvement over the earlier cuts, so hopefully it's finally on the right track.
Thanks for the clarification.

And thank you for being willing to put the time in to get this thing out the door.

Thanks for the pic Maurice, it's good to know there's still progress going on. I always did like the Starship Exexter's uniforms, they look really good.

Love the set dressing in STARSHIP EXETER. Reminds me of the early TOS look, where the ship looked lived in with microtapes haphazardly strewn on the briefing room table. That's a detail I don't see much in fan films, where everything is neatly arraigned and the sets don't have much of a lived-in look.

Man, it is such a shame they couldn't continue this fan series. The Tausarrian Intersction remains the best fan film outside "World Enough and Time." What they did was amazing.
