Yep, I totally agree on the music. For some reason Nutrek vids have a hugely uplifting effect on me.. I should label my youtube Nutrek album "Prozac" But I need not-awful music. I'm not a fan of male generic rock at all and there is just waaaay too much of it used. Also seems to be really popular to use American Idol singers.. I only find out they are American Idol singers because I looked some of them up because their so frequent and dull and I've never heard of them before. Having an Idol singer on your vid seems to earn you a huge amount of views.

When it's a singer I actually love it's fabulous, but I'm happy to just get not-awful!

And yes I realize this is all subjective

To be completely honest, my favourite vids are the ones with the worst music: Britney, Gaga etc..
I prefer the catchy-bad over the generic rock.

Well I love my Gaga and she does go VERY well with Trek vids. I have a whole Gaga Trek folder, LOLOL. I think she works well because the songs change so dramatically so often which if the vid maker uses that opportunity to speed up, change scene etc.. is very effective. The blah generic rock song is all the same so you it makes a poor sound track IMO.

I have now watched every ST:XI Bad Romance vid on youtube. Yes it was a very huge task but I poured my wine and soldiered through it
