Meh. In my mind, it'll always be Avatar: The Legend of Korra. James Cameron be damned.

OH MY GOD. That is amazing!

Wow, in 70 years the rest of the world went from pre-industrial to early-modern. Probably thanks to Fire Nation industry being available to everyone and unique minds.
Looks like just one city. Water Tribes still look backwards as before.

And the city looks more like EarthMetal Bending + Fire Nation tech = Asian Steampunk.

It isn't even steampunk, it is more Art Deco-punk. If you look closely you can see power lines, street lights, and gasoline cars.

I'm glad they're planning to extend the miniseries from 12 episodes to 26 episodes.

Me too, but call it whatever it looks beautiful The "central park" shot was stunning.

I'm excited, especially that it's now going to be 2 Seasons with a total of 26 episodes, rather than a single 12 episode season. Avatar: The Last Airbender was so well done

I wish it would be more episodes, but 26 is much, much better than 12. Hopefully this is a success so that we can get more Avatar cartoons in the future.

Re: Nickelodeon sets Avatar: Last Airbender sequel for 2011

I'm surprised that there hasn't been a new thread, maybe it just didn't show up with the general search terms I used, but Nick posted on their FaceBook today that the premier date for The Legend of Korra is April 14th, 2012 at 11 am.

Which is nice because Young Justice has a 10:30 am airtime.

I believe my initial reaction to the new trailer was something akin to your Pony avatar ;-)

Now that I have composed myself I shall simply post:

As a thanks for all the likes and shares via Facebook and Twitter, they are making the first two episodes available for online viewing on March 24 at Korra Nation!

Actually the release date for the first episode was about a week ago if you know where to look ...

It definitely lives up to the hype.

Good job you swallowed Viacom's honeypot.

They apparently recorded every ip address that accessed their servers and they are ready to sue everyone of those individuals for illegally accessing their computer network.

Hope you live in a country where they can't blackmail your isp to get your personal information. Or you are probably a few thousand dollars in the red.
