So if the Turtles are going to be aliens, what about Splinter? Is he now an alien rat, or will he not be in the movie because modern audiences won't "get him?"

Aliens? As noted why call it TMNT?
If half the acronym is missing(mutant & turtle) then it's really a farce.

I hope Bebop and Rocksteady are in the Bay version. They were probably my favourite characters from the 80s cartoon; cracked me up every time they were on scene.

I suggest in this reboot, Shredder and Krang are actually in a relationship. The way they'd bitch at each other, it was like an old married couple. Let's go the whole hog and make them a (very) odd couple.

If they are still aliens I don't care if you did pay off and collaborate with Peter Laird(Eastman has been bought out remember). The movie still wouldn't be about the TMNT.

It's like having a movie where Bruce Wayne's parents are alive and well. But, hey take a deep breath it's still going to be great...trust me, we worked with the Bob Kane estate on some details.

You know what made me become a fan in the first place? Teenage mutant ninja turtles. Which apparently aren't being included in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie.

But don't worry Mr. Bay,following your example, i'll be spending exactly as much money as you'd want me to on seeing this film. That is to say none. I'm just building a richer world. For me.
