I've never been a Deadpool fan...but I have enjoyed Wade in Uncanny X-Force, which is basically the only thing I've read him in an constant basis.

Never really cared Deadpool myself, but I do own his first appearance in New Mutants (vol.1) number ninety-something.

The Punisher... in space!!!

Thankfully, this isn't in continuity. It does sound... interesting.

I was so glad to hear that Punisher in Space was an out of continuity tale.
I'll wait for a trade as well in that case.

Speculate no more. Carol Danvers will be the new Captain Marvel with a new costume. Mar-Vell is described as being "the late Kree warrior", so whatever Mar-Vell's role in AvX, it will be a temporary return.

I guess that Carol is doing this to honour Mar-Vell? More pics...I kind of am starting to like this.

There's a hint of Marvelman in that design.

Ugh. Ms Marvel's current uniform is absolutely spectacular. No need to change it!

From the article...

“Carol has an incredible respect for Mar-Vell, as a person and as an icon,” notes DeConnick. “She is hesitant to take the name because of that. The line is something like, ‘So much has been taken from him. I won't take his name.’ It's on Captain America to help her understand that Captain Marvel wasn't his name, it was his mantle. And he would have wanted her to have it."

Re: Heroic Age/Avengers Ongoing Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

I read that after I asked the question lol. Yeah, I was hesitant over this, as I too love Carol's current costume. Plus this probably means we'll get a Marvel Legends variant next year

For those still wondering...Tom Brevoort once again states that there is no reboot post AVX.

I don't like her hair.
Trivial, sure but I just don't go for that look.

Re: Heroic Age/Avengers Ongoing Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

It just means Katee Sackhoff can play Ms. Marvel in "Avengers 2" Craig I trust they styled Carol's hair that way due to the military angle.

Re: Heroic Age/Avengers Ongoing Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Brian Wood is taking over Ultimate Comics X-Men, succeeding Nick Spencer, and will be taking over X-Men and his roster will feature Cyclops's "security team" on Utopia. Very interesting indeed.
