ENTER! TV/Media Av Contest:Luck of the Irish

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, this week's contest is about paying respect to those from the Emerald Isle. Pay tribute to your favorite actor, actress, director, writer, singer, musician, or comedian who hails from, was born and/or grew up in, or calls Ireland home.

Here's a list that might help with some ideas.

My choice: the legendary Peter O'Toole.

Standard av rules apply.

I'll put the poll up late Tuesday/early Wednesday.

I'll stick with Colm Meaney, but I think maybe I'm gonna go with this one.

I'll inform you later.

The late great Peter Boyle.
As much as I love Peter, he was neither born, grew up in nor lived in Ireland. He hails from Philadelphia; he's only of Irish descent, a few generations back. I'm looking for Irish people, not Irish-American people.

The always awesome (except in one movie that I don't have to name) Liam Neeson:

I wanted to make an av of Colm Meaney, but since he's already taken, I'll go for the Lord of the Dance:

If anyone is interested, I made a whole bunch of them. I don't think I'm ever going to use them anyway.
