The Tuvix process would not work because the phage would just eat through the Vidiians cells and stuff.
SO only HALF the person would be left?

Re: Could Janeway have sold the Tuvix process to the Vidiians as a Cur

How would the new mass be displaced?

Swiss cheese?

Shorter

Same size but lighter?

Thinner?

So you use the proccess to break a single sick Vidiian into a thousand 1 inch tall Viddians... you take the healthy ones out and put them into a baggy and burn the rest.

When you have a thousand healthy Vidians in baggies, you let them out and combine them into a new singular healthy Vidian.

seriously though that Holomatrix Janeway gave the Hirogen?

That could have saved them.

Unless you don't think that the downloaded personalities into the holobuffers are anything but fake copies, and really Janeway would have just tricked them all into committing mass suicide... Though the Bynars seemed fine with living in Enterprises computers, so did Barclay and Data's Grampa.

Actually?

What if the Think Tank was actually hired by some sick of the Vidians organ harvesters, and their endgame was the destruction of the Vidiians because even if you cured them of the phage, the organ harvesting wouldn't stop?

Once you have harvested organs hardcore you aren't going to give it up. Even if you don't need to any more physically the psychological need is not going to evaporate.

There's always going to be a need.

Just because most of the other medical issues out there that can be remedied by an organ transplant, don't require the totally of every ounce of meat off the doner, even if they just take a couple kidneys, their eyes and a liver... These thieves will be leaving more behind bleeding on the deck... but if their motive is now "money" and not the continuation of their species they would have to get a larger payout for taking ships, rather than body parts?

They're not Ferengi. Maybe they continue on with the body parts because they really enjoy their work despite there being more lucrative items out there to steal.

"They" is an industry.

Doner.
Groundpounders
Fieldmedics
Ships crew.
Surgeons.
middlemen
Administrators.
middlemen.
politicians
middle men.
hospital admin.
Transplant tribunals.
Surgeons.
"Customers"

That's if this is even done in real hospitals?

The only way that Vidiia isn't bombed back into the stone age is if this is completely illegal and frowned upon by the government. You know like how there's all those 'secret' terrorist training camps not sanctioned by the countries they're built upon operating in the light of day.

You often hear abut how criminals will disappear if drugs are legalized.

Imagine how much more profitable it would be to tax and licence cocaine rather than police it?

But if you did that you'd have to retask 90 percent of law enforcement in America to cope with the changing law.
