Okay, I'm already getting a headache from the Operation Gamma. I should have waited a few days until they got some of the bugs out...
I didn't encounter any bugs, but I felt the tone of the mission was just all over the place. It started out like one of BSG's military ops episode but quickly segways into a crappy DS9 Ferengi comedy episode. Not only that, its way too predictable. The second I saw the Ferengi shuttle, I knew I was going to be double crossed. I also knew the Vorta was going to demand the return of his god.

If I were to guess, the next mission is to escort the changeling to DS9, but she is going to somehow get rescued. As a result the Dominion isn't going to turn over the station.
Seems that everything glitches on my first character that attempts it. My KDF character played okay. That Ferengi is just dust in the wind (to the tune of "Dust in the Wind".)

You are limited to 20 assignments normally. However, I've had up to 23 or 24 counting the recruitment actions. The only reason to have more than 150 doffs is just for roleplaying (or too lazy to dismiss your whites).

Yes, Heretic mentioned that he was going to add in the chain progress tracker a few weeks ago. Glad to see it there.

.
The "overflow" missions are sickbay assignments. I've also had those, up to 22 in my case.

You could be right. In the past, it seemed that recruitment assignments (which take 20hrs?) would be the only thing incomplete yet I'd still have 20 open assignment slots. Perhaps that was just on the test server. Don't remember.

I actually don't run many doffs assignment now except to get the diplo xp. Which comes in handy as you travel around the galaxy.

Anyway thanks for the update.

I did the same thing and didn't luck out quite as much, but i got the klingon Graviton pulse console out of it, which is also very nice.
makes one almost think the hit chances with the golden boes are not too bad after all.
The fact, that you can buy master keys for haölf an hour loot collecting is not too bad either.
You guys are evil. I had a gold box tucked away and after reading your posts decided to open it (against my better judgement). Of course I was richly rewarded with an item that sells for 50k on the exchange. Nice return on the investment or not...

LOL, I think I'm done with the whole Cardassian box scheme.

i was done with the Cardassian box thing as soon as it started...

picked up a 'rare box' on an STF, thinking 'ohh, should be some cool borg goodies or STF token stuff inside...', but no... upon opening it, i was rewarded with a normal Cardassian box, which instead of the kickass free stuff i should have got from the STF, i would have had to pay to open...

screw that... ST:O's just turned into 'Galor Spam World' lately... pissing me off

For all you mission content addicts.
There is a new MUST PLAY foundry mission available.
"City of the Polmar Ree"

I won`t go into details here, it plays better unspoiled.
Let's just say it's from the guy who also made The Ramok Nor mission...
Wow! I played it waiting for Operation Gamma to kick off.

I don't understand why it's only a 4 star mission. It was buried under a ton of 5 star missions, which I'm now curious if they all really earned 5 stars or if those are inflated ratings...

You guys have ignored this thread for a while.

Re: Star Trek Online Discussion Thread (now free to play!)

For those interested... the calendar for March's releases online is up now...

1-19. Cardassian Lock Box
3. Feature Episode 4.4
8. Duty Officer Expansion (C-Store)
10. Feature Episode 4.5 (Finale)
15. Flagship Variants (C-Store)
23. New Event TBA
24. 800-Day Veteran Reward
29. Mugatu Combat Pet (C-Store)
29. Galaxy Pack (C-Store)
Not sure what exactly the 'flagship variants' or 'galaxy pack' are going to entail there... the one that does have me interested is the DOFF expansion... Here's to hoping it's a token that allows you to do more than 20 assignments at a time...

Flagship variants sounds like skin pieces for the Odyssey maybe?

Not skins. +1 refits. With the ensign universal, saucer sep and the escort combat pet for the Odyssey and a BoP pet of T5 size for the bortaS.
Hopefully with better bridges.

You've always been able to buy Veteran status; it's just you can only buy one month of it per month.

No of course not. Where did you get that idea? It's saying that people who have subbed will be getting their 800 day rewards. Notice that there is no C-Store label on that line.

They said that they were working on Galaxy and Intrepid-class ship interiors like the Defiant one they recently released, so I'd guess that's what that pack might be.

Here's some shots of the Odyssey's saucer separation and auxiliary craft:
