A bunch of new clothes from the C&A online shop, as well as a 30 STM Shirt from EMP.de. When under stress, I shop.

The postman just brough me 4 dvds

1) Jonathan Creek series 1-4 with the Christmas Specials
2) Anatomy of a Murder - starring James Stewart
3) Sooty - the Big Surprise
4) The Best of the Original Basil Brush Show

the last two prove that, despite my age, I have never grown up.

Boom Boom.
OMG!!

When did they bring back Basil Brush...and where is Mr Roy......

Last time i say the Basil Brush show we still only had 3 Tv channels.

The newer Basil Brush (The Basil Brush Show) ran from 2002 to 2007. Unfortunately there aren't many clips from the original 1970 show on YouTube.

I think the favourite part of the DVD I bought was seeing the Sherwood Forest sketch with John Inman in it.

I think I got even more laughs from the Sooty DVD.

Most of the patio furniture finally arrived. Still waiting on one chair but it's pretty sweet even the way it is. I'm outside right now.

All the major food groups in one photo. Be careful mixing grain & grape though...

I approve. Very nice.

Chose some fabrics for a few new shirts. 2 button-down collar shirts to be worn open-collar: a plain blue oxford which should be useful year-round, and a navy check which should be great with any pale coloured outfit. And a couple of spread collar shirts for generally worn with ties: a pale lilac bengal stripe and a solid blue end-on-end, both of which should be good with a range of different ensembles.

I'm following the German wisdom: "Bier auf Wein, lass dass sein -Wein auf Bier rat' ich dir!" which does warn you about mixing -but also teaches you in what order mixing might not be such a terrible idea
