I still find it kind of funny that other than the Batman movie DC hasn't had much success with their live action stuff, while Marvel's has been kicking ass. But then when you switch over their animated movie DC has been kicking ass, while Marvel hasn't been doing that well. Honestly, at this point I would love to the people doing the DC DTV animated movies, do a big theatrical animated movie.

A good animated gif I found elsewhere that highlights the grappling hook arrow sequence by Hawkeye in the SuperBowl spot.

Iron Man aside, they should just call this movie "Hawkeye and the Avengers", he dont need no gamma rays, or massive hammer.

Do we know yet if he's getting his own movie, post Avengers? I know they've been talking about a Black Widow movie, so if that went ahead he'd be the only Avenger without a solo movie.

^ Given how Jeremy Renner's popularity seems to be building, it has to be a definite possibility. Though if he does M:I V and more Bourne movies, he might have difficulties fitting it all in.

I think it's more likely we'll see a SHIELD movie than individual Hawkeye or Widow movies.

Sam Jackson has talked about a "Nick Fury of Shield" film before, it is part of his nine picture deal. They're supposedly working on one now. There was some talk last year of a "Black Widow" solo film and Marvel has been plugging Clint big time due to the film so I wouldn't be surprised.

Huh, the Hulk does kind of just appear there.

That's 'cause they decided to show the Hulk Who I have to say looks amazing.
Yeah, he looks just about as he should. I'm glad to see they made him smaller. Nice to see him as part of the team, too.

Very effective teaser. I can't wait for May!

One thing, however: How are they going to explain The War Machine's absence? Surely two iron men is better than one? I doubt Nick Fury cares about marketing only one type of hero to Loki and company.

I don't think there will be an explanation for Rhodey's absence. Nick was after Tony for a reason not Jim. I think Don Chedle has talked briefly about why he isn't in the film a couple of times.

What I don't get is the scene in Iron Man 2 where Nick seems to say they don't want Tony.

Man, that extended trailer is pretty damn good I have to say. Gets me all sorts of excited. That bit with the Hulk at the end is just badass.
