TNG moments that made you want to cry(or did)

In "Family" when Picard tells his brother that the Borg took everything and that they used him to kill and he should have been able to stop them and it made me cry.

Any other things that made you cry?

I always tear up just a little at the ending of Lower Decks during Picard's shipwide announcement.

The ending for "The Inner Light", when we realise that Picard's experience of love and life was already long gone a thousand years ago, with only the flute remaining.

The scene in Parallels where the Enterprise that is beat up by the Borg struggles not to be sent back, and get destroyed by accident by the other Enterprise.

I felt the desperation and the sheer terror in Riker's voice at the prospect of being sent back. Choked me up for a couple of days.

All those are excellent, but when Lal dies it's just sooooo saaaaaaad!

I just started a similar thread in the general forum. Talk about telepathy!

For me, the most emotional TNG moment that I can think of right now is Lal's death. It's so heartwrenching to see her develop the emotions that Data never managed to muster, only to end up overwhelmed by them. And through it all, Data is incapable of feeling the tragedy that is unfolding in his life. I loved how the rest of the bridge crew and, in the end, even Admiral Haftel, function as channels for the emotions that Data couldn't feel himself.

An add-on to that, I rewatched Unification recently and Spock's face when he finally gets to share a meld (through Picard) with Sarek...hell yeah I misted up.

Agreed.

In "Family", it's not so much Picard's breakdown that gets me, but the hug that the two brothers share at the end of the episode. It just seems so heartfelt.

Also, Worf and Nikolai's similar brother-hug in "Homeward".

And Worf and future Alexander's hug in "Firstborn".

Guess I'm a hugger-lover!!

Ethics: after Worf dies. When Crusher walks out, tears in her eyes, to tell Alexander and Troi.

Chain of Command II: "THERE ARE!!! ... FOUR LIGHTS!!!" And when Picard recounts to Troi that at one point, he thought he could see five lights. That got a tear in my eye.

I'm surprised "ethics" would have that effect since the audience knows Worf isn't dead.
